well, the test today wasnt as hard as i expected it to be. but still it wasnt THAT hard either... thank god. then after services, we went SHOPPING in 1utama... hehehhe.... fun-ness...
at first, how keat, wei kiat, sam, aileen, manda and i were suppose to go. but then, it ended up being aileen, manda and me.... again. how keat dunno why didnt want to go, wei kiat was very sick (looked like gonna faint already) and sam had to go to Jabatan Pendidikan.... so off we went.
in 1utama, aileen and manda dragged me along to their dress shopping..... we were giler giler man... commenting aileen in her dress like giler.... until the sales lady laughed and laughed at us. but it was kinda boring because dresses arent really my cup of tea (sorry leen n manda). then we went to buy manda's shoe.... MUAHAHAHA!!!! I PICKED THE WINNING SHOE!!! i got good taste leh..... hehehehe.
then we went to topshop... so i went to topmen.... and there i saw it.... THE TIE!!!! i fell in love with it. (not going ot describe it yet... wearing for prom.... hehehehe) so i bought it for RM50.... not bad right.... wrong... when i went home, i showed my parents (being all happy about it). then my dad started to inspect it and asked what material... so i said i think polyester. instantly their face turned all glum and all. they brought me to their room (we had guest) and gave me a lecture.... my mom was quite angry i think....
the lecture went like this : they said it was too expensive for the material. they thought i was buying it for the NAMA only. what sort of materialistic person do they think i am??!! anyway, i usually buy ties for my dad that cost more than that. but then their usually silk. i thought that it was a normal price for a tie. but when i told them that, they said that they were kinda disappointed in me, saying that they though i had better judgement. then they thought i wouldnt splurge so much with my money. they now think that i dont know how to save.... but i saved money for it and now still have about 400!!! i mean... if i saved for it, why cant i use the money i saved... WHATS THE POINT THEN??!!!! and never once did they say it looked nice.... i think the 'price' over powered aesthetic value. i really dunno what im feeling now... a real mix of feelings. SPOIL MY PROM MOOD ONLY!!!
by the way..... INCREDIBLES ROCK!!!! so kewl man!!! i love them all... i dunno which wan better. ehhehe. currently i wished i had violet's powers....
